All the grace and power of the horse are stunningly portrayed in this beautiful pewter sculpture. A stallion standing on his hind legs captures the vivacity and power of this intelligent and gentle creature. His muscular body, long mane and arched neck reveal his graceful form.

Created to commemorate the Year of the Water Horse in 2002, the horse is depicted with rolling waves of water at his feet. According to the Chinese Lunar Calendar, the water element is said to influence the year. And whilst the horse is a symbol of strength and perseverance, water is a symbol of prosperity and good fortune.
